The 6:00 p.m. weather update from the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Office stated that the mid to upper level trough, currently being monitored was forecasted to start affecting St. Vincent and the Grenadines late on Wednesday 21st December.

 

The Atlantic ridge of high pressure would continue to be the dominant feature during the 12 to 24 hours thereafter. Shower activity would be likely at that time, with an increase in intensity up until Friday 23rd December.  Moisture would continue to linger into the weekend.

 

The high-surf advisory and small-craft warning remained in effect for St. Vincent and the Grenadines until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday 21st December.

 

The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO), through the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Office would continue to monitor the situation.
